MEMBERSHIP IN THE UNION IS OPEN TO:
| (a) |
any local employees in a Bank, financial institution in Fiji in FNPF, Home Finance, Merchant Bank, Life and General Ins. Co, Credit Card Institution, Credit Corporation, Housing Authority, Thomas Cook, Money Exchange Co, Professional Accounting Firms, Medical Insurance Companies, Sugar Cane Growers Funds Authority, Employees in Computer industry, Unit Trust, Capital Marketing Development Authorities, Trust Companies, Suva Stock Exchange and Subsidiaries of all above mentioned organizations, or undertaking trading or otherwise but excluding any person who is a member of any other union.

| (b) |
Young persons under the age of 16 years shall not have the right to vote in any of the decisions taken by the Union but they may participate in the benefits provided by the Union.

| (c) |
Persons under the age of 21 years but above the age of 16 years may join the Union and on joining shall enjoy all the rights and privileges of such membership except they shall not be a member of Executive Council of the Union.

| (d) |
Members reaching the age of 60 years retiring from employment and not be fully employed elsewhere, may, subject to the decision of the Executive Council, be appointed as Honorary members.

A person who ceases to be a member of the Union under its Constitution and Rules may at the discretion of the Executive Council be permitted to rejoin or be reinstated, but such reinstatement or readmission shall be subject to the condition that such member immediately pays to the Union any subscription which remained in arrears at the date on which he last ceased to be a member.
